VIROPA Elderflower Description Elderflower is a shrub or small tree common in scrubland, cool woodlands, and hedgerows from the sea to the sub-mountainous zone, and is frequently found in South Tyrol near farmsteads. The flowers are fragrant, small, and white-yellow in color. They are harvested in May-June and are widely used in home herbal medicine.
