What is Vectra 3D for dogs? It is an external antiparasitic for large dogs weighing over 40 kg that protects against fleas, ticks, sand flies, mosquitoes and barn flies for a full month. Find the right one for your pet. How to apply the Vectra 3D pipette for dogs? Remove the spot-on applicator from the Vectra 3D for dogs over 40 kg packaging . Step 1: Hold the applicator upright, placing your fingers under the larger disc as shown. Step 2: With your other hand, press down on the small disc until the two discs meet. This will pierce the seal. Step 3: The dog should be in a comfortable position to facilitate application. Part the fur until the skin is visible. Apply the medication (as instructed in step 4 below) slowly with the tip of the applicator onto the skin. Step 4: Use as recommended in 4a or 4b. Recommendation 4a: Gently press the applicator and apply the medication to the skin along the dog’s back, starting between the shoulder blades, in the number of points and in the order indicated in the diagram below, pressing until the applicator is empty. Avoid applying the medication directly to the dog’s fur. The number of application points will depend on the dog’s weight. Recommendation 4b: Regardless of the animals weight, using the tip of the applicator, part the hair at the base of the tail and begin applying the medicine directly to the skin, in a continuous line from the base of the tail along the center of the back to the shoulder blades, as shown in the drawing, pressing the applicator until it empties.
