Shania Twain presents her seventh studio album Little Miss Twain - a personal look at the years before worldwide fame, the music from her childhood, and the journey from small Canadian bars to the biggest stages. In the new songs, country sound meets pop, rock, soul, and bluegrass, and Twain returns to memories of her upbringing without turning the album into a nostalgic reflection. This is music about origin, ambition, and the peace of accepting the entire path you have walked. The first single Dirty Rosie set the rougher and freer direction of the project, and the title track Little Miss Twain features country legend Tanya Tucker and tells the story of Shanias childhood dream to one day follow her example. Among the guests on the album is also Joshua Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, who participates in Faded Blue Jeans. Little Miss Twain is released on July 24. The digital and CD editions include 15 songs, while the vinyl version has 12.
