Description The Unigel Procto set consists of two packs of Unigel Procto suppositories intended for use as a supportive treatment for acute and chronic wounds of the anal and rectal mucosa (anal fissures, in patients with hemorrhoids), as well as in patients after treatment of hemorrhoids using the Barrons method (Barrons Ligature). Medical device intended for adults. Package contents The set consists of two Unigel Procto packages of 10 pieces each. Product purpose The medical device UniGel Procto supports the healing process in the case of acute and chronic wounds of the anal and rectal mucosa (anal fissures, hemorrhoids) and in patients who have undergone hemorrhoid treatment using the Barron method (Barrons Ligature). Product use Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use UniGel Procto suppositories once a day, preferably before bedtime. Do not use for longer than 30 days. If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 7 days, consult a doctor. How to use a medical device At the perforation of the blister, separate one suppository from the entire package, gently pull open the individual package and remove the suppository. Suppositories are inserted into the rectum, if possible after defecation and washing. The suppository should be inserted deep into the rectum, with the pointed end pointing towards the anus, preferably with a slight forward bend. Contraindications and precautions Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Insufficient rectal length (in children up to 3 months of age or premature babies). In case of: constipation, diarrhea, serious illness, heavy bleeding, previous injuries to the anus and rectum, abscesses, fistulas or intestinal resection, the use of UniGel Procto suppositories should be consulted with a doctor. Notes and precautions Before use, please read the leaflet enclosed in the package. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the products ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store at 15-25°C. Disposable product. Do not reuse. Rectal product. Do not introduce into other parts of the body. In patients with increased sensitivity, mild irritation of the rectal mucosa (e.g., mild burning or itching) may occur. In such cases, a doctor should be consulted. Pregnancy and breastfeeding Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the product.
