Acid Protect for dogs is a supplementary feed to support the gastric mucosa. Some dogs, like humans, naturally have a particularly sensitive stomach. This is compounded by specific stresses common to many dogs, such as eating snow or accidentally ingesting garbage or spoiled and unsuitable food. The consequences are often heartburn and frequent vomiting. The scientifically formulated Acid Protect formula includes, among other things, mucus-reducing substances as well as fiber-rich plants and minerals that stimulate stomach and intestinal activity. It is recommended to feed the product for at least two weeks – and, if necessary, for longer periods (e.g., if prolonged protection of the gastric mucosa is required). Due to the higher levels of zinc and bentonite compared to complete feeds, the stated feeding amount for this supplementary feed should not be exceeded. Simultaneous oral administration with macrolide antibiotics should be avoided. One tablet (2.5 g) per 10 kg of body weight daily: Evenly distributed across the days feedings. The dose should be doubled during the first 3 days.
