Lamberts Collagen Perfecting Complex Lamberts Collagen Perfecting Complex is a complex of hydrolyzed collagen peptides type I and III combined with plant-based silicon, biotin and vitamin C. The collagen peptides used in this product are a patented and clinically proven form of hydrolyzed porcine collagen called Verisol. In published clinical studies (1,2), daily intake of 2.5g of Verisol collagen peptides was associated with a 30% improvement in skin elasticity and a 50% improvement in the appearance of wrinkles (reduction in the number and depth of wrinkles). The mechanism of action of hydrolyzed collagen peptides is indirect, i.e. it is not due to direct replenishment of extracellular matrix collagen.
