For some tropical mosquito species, the protection time can be much shorter: on average 4 hours against mosquitoes that cause yellow fever and 8 hours against mosquitoes that cause malaria. Factors such as high temperature, humidity, and sweat can affect effectiveness. Apply sparingly and evenly to exposed skin that needs protection. For use on the face, spray into the palm of your hand and then apply. Do not apply near eyes, lips and damaged skin. Avoid contact with food, plastics and varnished surfaces.
