Hold the bottle upright while doing so. Do not use boiling water. Gently squeeze out the air. Slowly lower the hot water bottle onto a flat surface until the water becomes visible through the opening. Tighten the cap by hand. Make sure no water leaks out. Empty the hot water bottle completely after use. Hang it upside down to dry at room temperature. Remove the cap.
