This enzymatically predigested (hydrolyzed) chicken cartilage extract, produced in France, contains not only the collagen found in cartilage but also the other components of the extracellular matrix that forms cartilage. In addition to type II collagen, it contains hyaluronic acid and aminoglycans, including chondroitin sulfate, naturally occurring and not as additives. Recommended intake: We recommend 1.5 g daily (= 3 ml or a slightly heaped teaspoon). The product can be taken at any time, with or without food, but it works best half an hour to an hour before exercise, or if you have joint problems, half an hour to an hour before putting stress on that joint (for example, before a long walk). It can also be taken on an empty stomach in the morning. It is advisable to dissolve the product in a little water or other liquid, as its taste, while mild, is not pleasant, and quick ingestion is therefore preferable.
