This antiparasitic is one of the safest external products for dogs on the market, acting quickly on contact to eliminate fleas, ticks and lice from your pets skin. This is due to the effectiveness of fipronil, an insecticide and acaricide. From the first application, this product kills fleas and ticks within 24 hours and lice within 48 hours. Frontline Combo Spot On spreads through your pets skin structures via sebum, completely covering the dogs fur and skin. It is stored in the sebaceous glands, forming a reservoir that lasts for several weeks. In addition, it offers double protection for dogs, preventing the contamination of the animals environment with flea eggs and larvae. Its formula includes an adulticidal molecule for adult fleas and a molecule that eliminates immature forms (eggs and larvae). Its insecticidal efficacy against new infestations of adult fleas lasts for eight weeks and prevents flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity). USE AND SPECIFICATIONS Antiparasitic treatment that prevents and eliminates fleas, ticks and lice from the skin and fur of your pet. It is particularly indicated for dogs weighing over 40 kg, as it prolongs the period of action by preventing the eggs and larvae of these pests from hatching. Recommended period of use: The minimum treatment interval is four weeks. Instructions for use: Part the fur on the animals back at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze it several times to completely empty the contents onto the skin. Apply the product to an area where the animal cannot lick itself or where another animal cannot lick it. Precautions for use This product should not be used on puppies under eight weeks of age and/or puppies weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use on sick animals (systemic diseases, fever) or convalescents. Do not use on rabbits. Do not use dog formulations on cats as this could lead to overdose. Avoid bathing/immersion in water for two days after application of the product and do not bathe your pet more than once a week. Emollient shampoos can be used prior to treatment but they reduce the duration of flea protection by approximately five weeks when used weekly after application. One weekly bath with a 2% chlorhexidine medicated shampoo does not affect flea efficacy. Do not smoke, eat or drink while applying this product. This product may cause eye and mucous membrane irritation. Avoid contact of the product with the mouth and eyes. Animals or persons handling this product with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with Frontline Combo Spot-on. Avoid contact with this product with fingers. If this happens, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. After accidental eye contact, rinse the eye gently with clean water. Wash hands after using this product. Treated animals should not be touched until the application site is dry. We recommend that animals be treated at dusk rather than during the day and that recently treated animals not sleep with their owners, especially children.
