ESI IMMUNILFLOR COUGH Junior SYRUP Description A medical device with a strong balsamic component, formulated to modulate cough without inhibiting it. IMMUNILFLOR Cough SYRUP Junior hydrates the airway mucosa and promotes mucus expulsion for wet coughs; for dry coughs, it calms irritation. The mucoadhesive formulation, thanks to its high content of polysaccharides and honey, adheres to the irritated oral mucosa, acting as a protective barrier, protecting it from contact with external agents and promoting the healing of microlesions. Suitable for children over 1 year of age, up to 12 years of age. - Honey: enriches the product with natural substances beneficial to health; it also has a soothing effect on coughs, which can aggravate the symptoms of colds. - Lichen: a plant with various properties: cough suppressant, antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial. Iceland lichen has strong antimicrobial properties, thanks to usnic acid. Iceland lichen is used as an emollient for irritated mucous membranes and as an expectorant for coughs, preventing dryness and irritation of the oral cavity. - Plantain: An expectorant for bronchial catarrh, it soothes sore throats and inflammation of the oral mucosa, and has an anti-inflammatory effect (mucilaginous polysaccharides), particularly useful for tracheitis and gingivitis. Plantain is also used for its anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. - Eucalyptus: Known for its balsamic and antiseptic properties and its beneficial effects on the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract. Recommended for thinning and eliminating bronchial secretions. - Propolis: Propolis is composed of numerous substances: plant resins, vitamins, amino acids, mineral salts, bioflavonoids, and above all galangin, a bioflavonoid with antibacterial activity. Propoliss antibacterial properties are due to multiple mechanisms: it inhibits bacterial cell division; it disorganizes the cytoplasm and cell membrane of bacteria; it causes bacteriolysis; and it inhibits protein synthesis. Other actions of propolis include immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, anesthetic, healing, and antifungal effects; these properties are particularly evident in the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. How to use Children 1 to 3 years: 2.5 ml. Children 3 to 6 years: 5 ml. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 7.5 ml, to be repeated twice a day, or as otherwise advised by the doctor, up to a maximum of 4 times a day. It is recommended to take the last dose before going to bed.
