What is it and what is it used for? BRONCHOTOS pediatric syrup 200 ml is a solution formulated with natural ingredients that relieves cough in young children, without the need for chemical medications. Correct use reduces the discomfort felt by children during coughing, as well as fatigue, exhaustion and nighttime awakenings and helps eliminate mucus that accumulates in the bronchi. This pediatric syrup uses the anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties of dried marshmallow extract. In addition to relieving coughs, this ingredient helps clear the airways when a child has the flu, laryngitis, pharyngitis, or bronchitis. Marshmallow extract can also be an effective aid in cases of asthma in children, due to its mucilage content, which coats the esophageal lining to reduce irritation. It also reduces inflammation in the airways, allowing more oxygen to reach the lungs. BRONCHOTOS syrup also includes the antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of honey, which help disinfect the respiratory tract and strengthen the immune system. This sweet ingredient contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins, flavonoids, phenols, enzymes and organic acids. BRONCHOTOS syrup has a pleasant strawberry flavor, which makes it more attractive to children and helps them assimilate it more easily. Who is it for? This BRONCHOTOS syrup is indicated for children aged 1 to 11 years who suffer from dry coughs and coughs with mucus. It is also suitable for children with lactose intolerance or allergies and gluten intolerance. Instructions for use This syrup contains a dosing device that should be used to administer the correct amount to each child, depending on their age. Xylitol may have a laxative effect. Warnings and precautions: Use in patients with sugar intolerance: Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this product as it contains honey. Use in patients with diabetes mellitus: 15 ml of Bronchotos Pediatric contains 0.3 CU (carbohydrate units). Use during pregnancy and lactation: The use of Bronchotos Pediatric is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. Use in children: Children under 3 years of age should consult a doctor to exclude the presence of more serious diseases. Not recommended for use in children under 1 year of age. Concomitant use of Bronchotos Pediatric with other medications: If you are taking medications, it is recommended to take them 1/2 to 1 hour before or after taking Bronchotos Pediatric. Please consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days or if you experience difficulty breathing, fever or purulent sputum while using Bronchotos Pediatric. Bronchotos Pediatric contains methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives. These may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). STORAGE: Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the label and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 25°C. Close the bottle tightly after use. After opening the bottle, use the contents within 4 weeks. Keep the bottle in the original packaging in order to protect from light.
