Horrible Heracles is back to his old beast-torturing tricks, and theres another awful hero on the scene, Beastly Bellerophon, whos shoved burning lead down the Chimeras throat and flown poor Pegasus nearly to death. Pan is demanding Demon come down to earth to deal with the Mares of Diomedes, but up on Olympus the butterfly-winged goddess Psyche is about to blackmail Demon into doing something VERY dangerous. She needs Demon to borrow Zeuss Eagle, his prized bird of prey, to complete the task shes been set by Aphrodite. Eagle is the only one who can soothe the three-tongued serpent who guards the spring of eternal youth at the source of the River Styx - and Psyche needs just a little jug of water from it to erase Aphrodites (non-existent) wrinkles and win the chance of marrying her son, Eros. Will the Eagle be willing to help Demon out? Or will he turn the young Beastkeeper over to his royal master? The threat of being sizzled by a thunderbolt has never been more real . . .
