HYALOVET cares for and moisturizes the ocular surface, while providing relief from the symptoms of dry eye syndrome (e.g., irritated, red, itchy, watery, and/or very sensitive ocular surface). Features HYALOVET acts by forming a clear, viscoelastic, preservative-free protective film on the cornea, without altering visual performance. This is achieved due to the high water-binding capacity of the contained Sodium Hyaluronate, i.e. the sodium salt of Hyaluronic Acid, which, among other things, is also naturally found in the vitreous body of the eye. It does not contain preservatives and is well tolerated in long-term use. It is suitable for contact lens wearers. Contact lenses should not be removed while applying the eye drops. It is available in single doses in pharmacies. BENEFITS HYALOVET provides long-lasting relief, hydration and care against discomfort associated with:Mechanical stress: for example, from the use of hard or soft contact lenses or during eye diagnostic proceduresEnvironmental stress: for example, due to air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or polluted air (cigarette smoke, etc.)Computer work: at microscopes and during or after prolonged driving Regular use of certain medications Reduced tear production due to age Allergens such as pollen, animal hair, dust, etc. Instructions for use Break a single-dose container. Make sure each single-dose container is intact. To open the single-dose container, twist the flat end (do not pull). Tilt your head back slightly, look up and gently pull your lower eyelid away from your eye. Instill one drop into the conjunctival sac of your eye 3 to 5 times a day. Slowly close your eyes to allow the liquid to distribute evenly across the surface of the eye. If the discomfort worsens or does not improve, please consult your ophthalmologist! Precautions Since HYALOVET does not contain preservatives, any solution not used immediately after opening should be discarded. If you are also using other eye drops/ophthalmic ointment, wait approximately 15 minutes. HYALOVET should always be used last. Do not use the product on infected or injured eyes.
