The Delta Forehead Collar has a repellent (anti-feeding) effect against sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) and culex mosquitoes (Culex pipiens) for 5 to 6 months; therefore, it can be considered part of a program for the prevention of leishmaniasis and culex mosquitoes of the Culex pipiens complex. It is also indicated for the prevention of tick and flea infestations for 6 to 4 months. Instructions for use Very small dogs: Deltamethrin 0.636 g, Titanium dioxide 0.239 g. Small and medium dogs: Deltamethrin 1.056 g, Titanium dioxide 0.396 g. Method and route of administration: Fits collars, anti-strangulation safety. Dosage: One collar per dog. Special warnings: Read the package insert before use. Store in the original packaging until ready to use to prevent children from accessing the collar. Dogs wearing the collar should not be allowed to sleep on the same bed as their owners, especially children. Special storage precautions: Store the pouches in the outer cardboard or metal box to protect from light.
