It also reduces the risk of developing soft and brittle bones. It improves abdominal weakness and helps maintain a healthy heart rate. This product provides essential nutrients to help prevent rickets, a condition that affects the growth and bone structure of dogs. Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, helps pets absorb calcium better. It is also very useful for maintaining healthy muscles and nerves and supports the immune system. Phosphorus enhances all of these benefits. It also helps produce proteins that the body needs for the growth, maintenance, and regeneration of cells and tissues. Phosphorus deficiency can cause anemia, loss of appetite, muscle weakness, bone pain, coordination problems, confusion, risk of infection, as well as a burning or itching sensation in the skin. Who is it for? Zoetis Redomin Calcium tablets are indicated for supplementing the diet of dogs and cats. They help reduce calcium deficiencies. Instructions for use The daily dose depends on the weight of the animal. For dogs and puppies weighing less than 9 kg, only half a tablet per day is recommended. If they weigh more than 9 kg, the dose is 1 tablet per 9 kg. Cats are given only one tablet per day. Some large breed dogs, such as Great Danes, Irish Wolfhounds, Newfoundlands, and others, require a higher dose. Contraindications Do not combine the administration of this product with the consumption of vitamin D2. Adverse reactions in animals following the use of the tablets are unknown.
