This product provides essential nutrients to help prevent rickets, a condition that affects the growth and bone structure of dogs. Thanks to vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, pets can better absorb calcium. It is also very helpful for maintaining healthy muscles and nerves, and it supports the immune system. Phosphorus enhances all these benefits. It also contributes to the production of protein that the body needs for growth, maintenance, and regeneration of cells and tissues. Phosphorus deficiency can cause anemia, loss of appetite, muscle weakness, bone pain, coordination problems, confusion, risk of infection, as well as a burning or itching sensation on the skin. Who is it for? Zoetis Redomin Calcium tablets are indicated to supplement the diet of dogs and cats. They help reduce calcium deficiencies. Instructions for use The daily dose depends on the animals weight. For dogs and puppies weighing less than 9 kg, only half a tablet per day is recommended. If they weigh more than 9 kg, the dosage is 1 tablet per 9 kg. Cats are given only 1 tablet daily. Some giant breed dogs, such as Great Danes, Irish Wolfhounds, Newfoundlands, and others, require a higher dosage. Contraindications Do not combine administration of this product with vitamin D2 consumption. Side effects produced in animals from the use of the tablets are unknown.
