They consist of more than 95% xylitol and are therefore sugar-free. Xylitol, also known as birch sugar, is derived from xylose and has the same sweetness as regular sugar, but with 40% less caloric value. Streptococcus mutans, karyogenic bacteria, cannot metabolize xylitol and therefore die. Furthermore, xylitol prevents plaque bacteria from adhering to the tooth surface. Made in Germany from Finnish birch sugar, Xylinetten are ideal for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets because they are metabolized without insulin. They are therefore also suitable for diabetics. The wonderfully fruity taste of the six varieties – strawberry, raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, orange-ginger, and peppermint – is based on natural flavorings and will appeal to both adults and children. Application and Dosage After meals and in the evening after brushing your teeth, let one Xylinetten dissolve slowly in your mouth. Three to four Xylinetten a day are sufficient for adults, while two to three are enough for children. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Not suitable for children under 3 years (choking hazard) and pets. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
