Xailin Night Lubricating ointment for dry eyes 5 g, Visuafarma Xailin Night is an ointment ideal for lubricating and protecting the eye in certain ocular conditions and providing long-lasting refreshing and soothing nighttime relief from dry eye sensations, such as pain, irritation or a feeling of sand. Indications: Xailin Night is a multi-dose nighttime ointment ideal for providing long-lasting relief from dry eye sensations. Composition: White petrolatum 57.3% m/m; white mineral oil 42.5% m/m; lanolin alcohols 0.2% m/m. How to use: Apply a thin strip of ointment of approximately 1 cm to each eye as often as necessary, as follows Before opening a new pack of Xailin Night lubricating eye ointment, make sure that the safety ring on the tube cap is not brokenTwist the cap anticlockwise to break the sealWash and dry your hands thoroughly before useRemove the outer capIf you wear contact lenses, remove your lensesTilt your head back and look upGently pull down the lower eyelid of your eye to form a small pocket between your eyelid and your eyeHold the tube between your thumb and middle finger of the other hand, turn the tube upside down towards your eye and try not to touch your eye with the applicatorApply enough pressure to the tube to squeeze out a thin strip of ointment about 1 cm long, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or opticianClose and reopen your eye a couple of timesIf you have missed your eye, insert another strip of ointmentCarefully wipe away any excess Xailin Night around your eyelid with a tissueRepeat the process for the other eye, if necessary necessaryReplace the outer cap on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip with any foreign body, including the eye or fingersAllow at least 30 minutes between administrations of other ophthalmic medicationsIf you are unsure about using Xailin Night lubricating ophthalmic ointment, or if the discomfort persists, consult your doctor, pharmacist or optician.Side effects: There are no known particular side effects.
