Product features: Wellion Galileo Glu blood glucose test strips A reliable blood sugar reading with just a small drop of blood The convenient Wellion Galileo blood glucose test strips are used with the Wellion Galileo meters (Wellion Galileo Glu/KET, Wellion Galileo Glu/CHOL and Wellion GALILEO Compact) to measure blood glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood. The Wellion Galileo meters are perfectly suited for home use as well as for use by healthcare professionals. Handling: Remove a Wellion Galileo blood glucose test strip from the test strip container and close it immediately. Insert the test strip into the meter to turn it on. The display will show the %%%Glu%%% symbol, the flashing blood drop symbol, and the test strip symbol. Press the lancing device (with a fresh lancet) sideways against the fingertip and press the trigger button to prick and obtain the drop of blood. Now hold the tip of the test strip at a slight angle to the blood sample. The test strip will draw in the blood like a straw. The meter will beep when enough blood has been collected for the measurement. The display will show a countdown, and after 5 seconds the result will be displayed. Useful information: Do not use expired test strips. Check the expiry date printed on the test strip container and packaging. Close the test strip container IMMEDIATELY after removing a test strip to protect the remaining test strips from humidity. Use test strips immediately after removing them from the container. Do not use wet or damaged test strips. Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Store the test strips in a dry, cool environment (not in the bathroom). Note the opening date on the label of the test strip container. Discard any remaining test strips 6 months after first opening.
