VULNAMIN SPRAY Adjuvant in healing processes. It is a medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD. It is intended to promote the restoration of a moist microenvironment in particularly dry wounds while also assisting in the cleansing and granulation phase of uncleansed skin lesions. Interactive dressing based on sodium hyaluronate and collagen-constituting amino acids, in a fluid gel formulation, designed to promote the formation of granulation tissue and tissue regeneration. It also facilitates wound cleansing. Vulnamin spray protects skin integrity, being used in the early stages of lesions to prevent their progression. In skin lesions of various origins, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and the formation of granulation tissue, and thus the regeneration of the lesion area. Vulnamin spray also reduces inflammatory infiltrate and simultaneously stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen. Vulnamin sprays versatile formulation allows for use even in hard-to-reach areas that are particularly painful. Application to skin that is not yet ulcerated but showing signs of ulceration helps maintain a protective microenvironment for the integrity of the skin. In the treatment of skin ulcers of various origins, with slowed healing, and lesions with moderate to low exudate, whether cleansed or colonized, flat or cavitary, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and promotes tissue healing. Do not use on frank infection. For colonized lesions, combine with a secondary antibacterial dressing. How to use Spray Vulnamin spray on the skin affected by pre-ulcerative lesions once or twice daily. Vulnamin spray is also indicated for ulcerative skin lesions without necrosis or infection (red stage). The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the state of the wound. Dressing changes should be commensurate with wound exudation; it is recommended to change the dressing every other day or, at most, every three days. Wash and cleanse the wound and spray an adequate amount of product, using the most appropriate dressing for the wound state as a secondary dressing. Components Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propylene glycol, tetrasodium EDTA. Warnings Remove any foreign material from the wound by spraying saline solution from the inside of the wound outward. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the dressing. After thoroughly cleaning the area to be treated, gently dab the wound with gauze to remove excess blood. If the injury does not require further treatment, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin spray as described in the directions for use. It is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. Overdose is not known. There are no known side effects. There are no known interactions with medications or medicinal substances. Although there are no known side effects, use should be performed according to a doctors advice during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Vulnamin spray is a well-tolerated product; occasional burning sensations may occur, due to the products hypertonicity, which characterizes its cleansing effectiveness. This sensation, however, tends to resolve spontaneously. The expiration date applies to unopened and properly stored product. This product is intended for external use. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not sterilize. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the components. The use of desiccants in combination with Vulnamin spray is not recommended. Keep out of reach of children. If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Conservation Vulnamin spray should be stored between 8° and 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and heat sources.
