VETRAMIL PHARMACEUTICAL FORM Impregnated dressing (Impregnated dressing) COMPOSITION BY APOSITORY Honey 20%. Excipient. PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES The Vetramil Pad dressing has a non-adherent absorbent layer. The inner layer is impregnated with a small amount of honey and glycerin-based liquid, giving the Vetramil Pad a slightly moist feel. Vetramil Pad contains pure honey produced under controlled conditions. This controlled production process ensures that Vetramil Pad dressings are free of pesticide residues and that quality is consistently high. The outer layer is permeable to wound fluids, allowing the inner layer of the dressing to absorb them. The outer layer prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound. INDICATIONS Aseptic dressings for covering wounds. ADVERSE REACTIONS Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to honey. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE If necessary, clean the wound in the usual way. Open the wrapper at the mark. Remove the gauze from the packaging and spread it over the wound. Secure the gauze in the usual way, for example, with adhesive tape or a gauze bandage. After a day or two at most, carefully remove the Vetramil Pad dressing and replace it with a new one. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS • Do not use if the packaging is damaged. • Do not use if the wrapper is not properly sealed. • Do not apply to a wound for more than 30 consecutive days. • Do not reuse a used dressing. • Do not re-sterilize an opened wrapper. STORAGE METHOD Store between 10 and 30 °C. FORMAT: 5 dressings of 10 × 10 cm.
