Essential oil of Vetiver M-1041, 5 gr, Mayam Vetiver essential oil is often used in perfumery for its deep, tenacious smell, with earthy notes, being also a fixative for perfumes. In applications on the skin, it is used for the effect of stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation. Vetiver is a plant that grows in tufts similar to grass, it is tall, it has long and thick leaves, with a complex of underground roots that go deeper than 1 meter, roots from which the essential oil is extracted. Vetiver grass was used in Calcutta and Haiti to make thatched roofs and for awnings, blinds or parasols, while in Java, the roots were used to weave carpets. The fact that the plant limits soil erosion is not to be neglected either. Vetiver essential oil is today a popular ingredient in perfumery, which is used especially for the creation of mens perfumes; it is also used in the manufacture of soaps, toilet products or cosmetics. Method of obtaining: By steam distillation of the roots Characteristics: Brown viscous liquid. Olfactory description: Intense and tenacious smell, warm, rich, with earthy and grassy notes, with woody undertones. Properties : - perfume with earthy notes, it is the olfactory base note and perfume fixer; - circulatory, arterial and venous tonic, lymphatic tonic, helpful in edema, varicose veins, phlebitis; - stimulator of the immune system, de-stressing, slightly aphrodisiac.
