Collagen is the main structural protein in the extracellular matrix of the various connective tissues (tendons, cartilage, bone, skin) in the body. As the main component of connective tissue, it is the most abundant protein in mammals, accounting for 25% to 35% of the protein content of the whole body. Hydrolyzed collagen is obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis specific to proteins. The molecule size is 2,000 Da, which makes it highly digestible and well soluble in cold water. It does not contain allergens, artificial sweeteners, fats, sugars and flavors. Glucosamine stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are the building blocks of the cartilage matrix.
