INDICATIONS: Nutritional supplement for very large dogs, which encourages optimal joint function. COMPOSITION: dextrose, glucosamine hydrochloride, MSM, chondroitin sulfate, corn starch, hyaluronic acid, magnesium stearate. Glucosamine hydrochloride 1000 mg/tablet - stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAG), which are components of the cartilage matrix. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) 400 mg/tablet is an organic sulfur compound (sulfur is necessary for the formation of connective tissue). MSM acts as an analgesic by reducing nerve impulses that transmit pain. Scientific studies have shown that there is an improvement in symptoms such as pain inflammation and swelling in patients using MSM in combination with glucosamine. Chondroitin sulfate 200 mg/tablet and hyaluronic acid 40 mg/tablet make articular cartilage more flexible and resistant to damage and stress. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of the joint fluid, which has physical properties similar to rubber. The viscosity of synovial fluid depends, inversely, on the water content. Less water means higher viscosity. This effect works in the joint - pressure on the joint removes water and thus reduces pressure. It also has a significant analgesic effect. Manganese sulfate 14 mg/tablet - manganese is necessary for the synthesis of GAG and collagen and allows crosslinking and binding of collagen fibers.
