Basil Essential Oil (Ocimum basilicum) Features: - It has analgesic, antiallergic and bactericidal effects. - Effective against muscle pain and spasms. Restores strength to tired and strained muscles. - Basil oil relieves colds, runny nose, rheumatic and arthritic pain, and headaches. - It has a refreshing, cleansing and toning effect on the skin. HOW TO USE: Bath – fill the bathtub with warm water and add essential oils (previously mixed with the base oil). For one bath, use 6-12 drops of oil mixed in one tablespoon (10 ml) of basic oil. Massage – selected essential oils are added to the basic oil intended for massage. Pour approximately 50 ml of basic oil into a glass bowl or bottle, add 10-25 drops of essential oil and mix. Store the mixture in a tightly closed dark glass bottle in a cool and dark place. Shake the bottle before each use. One teaspoon (5 ml) of basic oil is usually 2-3 drops of essential oils. Spraying – fill the water container in an aromatic burner or diffuser with water and add 3 to 6 drops of essential oil. Sauna – add 5 drops of essential oil to 1 liter of water.
