What is Vectra 3D for dogs weighing between 4 and 10 kg? It is an external antiparasitic for dogs that protects against fleas, ticks, sand flies, mosquitoes and barn flies for a full month. Step 1: Hold the applicator upright, placing your fingers under the larger disc as shown. Step 2: With your other hand, press down on the small disc until the two discs meet. This will pierce the seal. Step 3: The dog should be in a comfortable position to facilitate application. Part the fur until the skin is visible. Apply the medication (as instructed in step 4 below) slowly with the tip of the applicator onto the skin.
