Uralyt®-U indicator paper test strips: Instructions for self-application Please refer to the instructions for use when using Uralyt-U test strips to determine urine pH. Begin by collecting fresh urine in a clean container. Application of the test strips Detach a test strip with dry fingers. Dip the test strip into the collected urine for one second, remove it, and gently shake off any excess liquid. The test strip will change color depending on the pH of the urine at the point of contact. Within two minutes, compare the color to the enclosed color chart. Reading the results Determine the pH value by matching the color of the strip to the corresponding value on the color scale. The reading accuracy of the result is ± 0.1 pH. Disposal and further information Used test strips should be disposed of with household waste. If any discrepancies arise, seek professional advice. Please note that any discoloration of unused test strips does not affect their usability. The test strips must not be reused and should be stored in a dry place, protected from light.
