The hub works by splitting access to four USB ports between two computers. However, only one can access them at a time. To use the second computer, you need to move the switch to the other device. Connect them once to the switch and share them with the second computer as needed. Simple switching To share USB ports and connected peripherals, simply press the button on the devices housing. An LED will indicate which device currently has access to the additional ports.
