It is recommended in the prevention of urinary tract infections due to urinary catheters and autostatic catheters. Thanks to its composition UCI-Free® can help inhibit bacterial adhesion and growth (L-methionine); conversion of urinary nitrites into antibacterial nitrogen oxides and nitric acid (L-ascorbic acid + L-methionine); inhibition of urease activity of uropathogens at urine pH 5-6 (L-ascorbic acid + L-methionine); reduction of urine supersaturation in apatite and struvite (L-methionine); urinary calcium and magnesium uptake (citrates) and maintaining a margin of safety between nucleation pH and urine pH (citrates + L-methionine). Administration method: The dose of UCI-Free® is two sachets per day, one in the morning and one in the evening. Each sachet of UCI-Free® must be dissolved in water or fruit juice.
