Topixeril contains a set of emulsified lipids, emollients and beeswax that create a film on the surface of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat that maintains the proper state of hydration. Gaultheria procumens oil, which, due to the content of methyl salicylate, has anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties (reduction of painful symptoms was observed especially in combination with menthol). Glycerol provides an additional moisturizing effect. Peppermint oil has a cooling and refreshing effect. Vitamins A and E alleviate the symptoms of dry mucous membranes and have a soothing effect.
