The Thermacell Protect mosquito repellent is a practical, freestanding unit offering maximum protection against mosquitoes and the Asian tiger mosquito outdoors. The Thermacell devices work by vaporizing an active ingredient through the heating of the active ingredient pads, without an open flame or unpleasant odors. This quickly creates a mosquito-proof zone of approximately 20 square meters. Thermacell thus represents intelligent and easy-to-use mosquito protection, making sprays and lotions unnecessary. The modern design of the Protect mosquito repellent ensures a relaxing time on the balcony, terrace and in the garden, or while out and about at the lake, camping, fishing or hunting. Note: No mosquito repellent is included. Separately available mosquito repellent kits are required to operate the Thermacell devices. Application A Thermacell refill pack (12 h, 48 h or 120 h) is required for the application of the mosquito repellent Protect. Remove the cover from the gas cartridge and screw it firmly into the device from below. Slide the blue active ingredient tablet from the refill pack under the grid. To start, turn the bottom of the device towards ON. One medication tablet lasts for 4 hours, one gas cartridge for 12 hours.
