Tegaderm CE medical device. Transparent polyurethane film dressing. Impervious to liquids, bacteria, and viruses (including HIV) yet highly breathable. Frame application system. A plaster strip allows you to record the application date. Indicated for protecting the insertion site of venous and arterial catheters, peritoneal catheters, and other percutaneous devices; for first- and second-degree burns; for protecting skin at risk of pressure sores or on redness during prolonged immobilization; and for waterproofing other dressings.
