How to use - Please check that the measuring sensor is not dirty, damaged or scratched before use. - Before use, check that the ambient temperature is between 15°C and 35°C and that there are no factors that could interfere with temperature measurement. - Please do not take measurements immediately after bathing or showering, after physical activity, after eating or after sun exposure, otherwise the measurement result may be incorrect. - Please do not perform measurements in uncertain and/or rapidly changing environmental conditions or in poor hygiene conditions, otherwise the measurement result may be incorrect. - Please ensure that the device and the patient are acclimatized to the same environmental conditions for at least 30 minutes at the time of measurement. 1. Press the ON/OFF button once to turn on the device. 2. After 3 seconds, the thermometer is ready for measurement mode and the blue LED and the °C (or °F) symbol on the display will flash. 3. Then, bring the device close to your forehead to automatically start measuring the temperature. 4. After 1 second, the measurement is completed and indicated by a specific sound and light signal. 5. Shutdown is automatic after 30 seconds of inactivity or manual by holding down the ON/OFF button until the device turns off. You can take a new measurement as soon as the blue LED and the °C (°F) symbol start flashing again. - Please hold the thermometer correctly against your forehead. Otherwise, the measurement may be inaccurate and you may need to remove the thermometer and repeat the measurement. Cleaning and disinfection methods To clean the thermometer probe area before and after use, apply 75% alcohol to a cotton swab, then dry with a soft cloth. Dirty infrared sensors can cause incorrect measurements. - Clean the sensor with regular alcohol after use. - Please do not touch or press the infrared sensor. A damaged or dirty infrared sensor can lead to incorrect measurement results. When the infrared sensor is dirty, use cotton swabs or a soft cloth soaked in alcohol to clean it very gently. - Using toilet paper or tissues to clean the sensor may damage it and lead to an incorrect measurement. - Do not take the measurement after a hot bath, prolonged exposure to the sun or intense physical exertion. In these cases, the temperature measured by the device may be higher than the actual temperature. - During cold periods, do not take your temperature immediately after returning home. *Wait for your forehead to warm up. In this case, or after sleeping with pillows/water bottles, if you do not wait for your forehead to warm up naturally (thermal acclimatization), the temperature you take may be lower than the actual temperature. - Do not attempt to disassemble and/or repair the thermometer. - Do not store the thermometer in a place exposed to splashes, high temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, dust or corrosion. This product cannot be used in the above-mentioned environments. - Do not dispose of the product as normal waste. Follow national disposal regulations. Dispose of batteries in appropriate containers. Contraindications - If batteries are swallowed, contact a doctor immediately. - Do not use the thermometer in water or during excessive exercise. - Measure temperature only on intact skin. Avoid using the device on any area of the body that is inflamed or has trauma, wounds or post-operative lesions. - When you tell your doctor your temperature, its a good idea to inform them that it was measured with an infrared thermometer. - Please do not use this product on any area other than the forehead. - Please do not hit, break, step on or shake the device body. - Please do not use this product in environments with significant electromagnetic interference. - Please do not disassemble, repair or deform the product. - Please do not put liquids (alcohol, hot water, etc.) into the device.
