METALLINE Tracheo Description Medical Device. Soft, absorbent pad, provided with a variable hole made by radial cuts around it. It is made of viscose nonwoven fabric that is vapor-aluminized on the side in contact with the wound. This creates a smooth surface in contact with the wound, reducing the risk of adhesion. Atraumatic removal of the dressing positively influences wound healing. The compress is soft, smooth, permeable to air and water vapor. Latex free. Sterilized by gamma rays. Components - 1st layer: steam-aluminized viscose TNT, reinforced with acrylic binder; - 2nd layer: viscose TNT reinforced with acrylic binder; - 3rd layer: reinforced viscose TNT bonded by needle-punching the viscose fibres. The first and second layers are pressed together, while the second and third layers are glued over the entire surface. Conservation Shelf life when packaged intact: 60 months.
