Sorbalgon dressing (999589), 10x20 cm, 5 pieces, Hartmann Sorbalgon is a hydroactive calcium alginate fiber dressing, recommended for cleaning cavitary (deep) wounds with moderate/profuse secretions. The dressing should be applied so that it fills the cavities well. On contact with wound secretions, the alginate fibers turn into a viscous, absorbent gel that encapsulates dead cells and germs in the wound.Indications: Cavity (deep), hard-to-reach wounds with moderate or abundant discharge. Chronic infected wounds. Fistulas, puncture channels (Sorbalgon T).Benefits: Effective cleaning of deep and infected wounds. Maintaining a moist wound environment that allows tissue regeneration.
