Sodasan uses only electricity from Greenpeace Energy and therefore operates 100% without nuclear power. All plant-based ingredients are rapidly and completely biodegradable (OECD). Since soaps precipitate immediately in wastewater as ineffective lime soaps, they are considered to degrade rapidly (primary degradation). Complete degradation to carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation) occurs within a few hours. The pH value is 9.4 – 10.2.
