SMART GAUZE Description Disposable sterile gauze. This product is indicated for the treatment of the periocular area, eyelids, and eyelashes, in both children and adults, even in the presence of secretions resulting from allergic, inflammatory, and/or infectious conditions, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds. Its use is also particularly effective in the pre- and/or post-operative phase of ophthalmic surgery and during treatment for blocked tear ducts. The product is also recommended for the daily treatment of the periocular area in subjects who suffer from dry eyes or are predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds. How to use After thoroughly cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it to ensure adequate removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, etc.). If you experience particularly persistent secretions or blocked tear ducts, its recommended to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (about 40°C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, gently massaging the area. If you experience inflammation, its recommended to chill the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the opened gauze to the eye, holding it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress. Components 100% cotton gauze soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: aqua, propylene glycol, phenethyl alcohol, sodium chloride, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, PEG-40 castor oil, polysorbate 20, sodium cocoyl wheat amino acids, Euphrasia officinalis extract, ammonium glycyrrhizate, sodium bicarbonate, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium hyaluronate. Without preservatives. Warnings Product sterility is guaranteed only if the pouch is intact. The gauze is disposable; reuse could spread infection. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation or hypersensitivity to the product occurs. In case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze on both eyes.
