Designed for people with diabetes, it allows for monitoring glucose levels in interstitial fluid without the need for frequent finger pricking. Action The iCan i6 CGM system measures glucose levels using a thin sensor electrode placed under the skin in the interstitial fluid. The sensor measures glucose levels every 3 minutes, and the transmitter wirelessly transmits glucose information to the iCan CGM app on the users mobile device. Product purpose The iCan i6 CGM System is intended for use in measuring interstitial fluid glucose levels in individuals with diabetes aged 2 years and older, with application sites including the abdomen (age 2+) and upper arm (age 13+). Product characteristics The device enables continuous glucose monitoring for up to 15 days. Data is automatically transferred to the mobile app without the need for manual sensor scanning or calibration. The system generates alerts for significant glucose changes, and trend arrows indicate the direction and speed of changes. Product use Preparation Wash and dry your hands and the application area. Disinfect the skin with alcohol and wait for it to dry. Installing the sensor Hold the applicator cover until you place it on the skin. Choose an application site (away from scars, tattoos, irritations and bones). Application and launch Insert the sensor according to the applicator instructions. Pair it with the transmitter and the iCan CGM app (Bluetooth on, notifications active). Start the session and wait for the sensor to finish warming up. Contraindications and precautions Before use, read the instructions for use or the label. Store at room temperature and out of reach of children. Notes and precautions The sensor can be worn while bathing, showering, and engaging in light water activities (submersible up to 2 meters for 2 hours – IP28).
