The presence of antiseptics in the formula ensures the sterility of the ophthalmic solution after the first opening of the bottle, helping to protect the ocular tissue from irritation. The concentration of polyvinyl alcohol (1.25%) in the product has been specially designed to ensure that the resulting hydrogel has rheological characteristics similar to those of tear fluid and an effective adhesive property on the ocular mucosa, providing a lubricating, moisturizing and protective effect without causing blurred vision. This hydrogel also ensures that the components remain on the ocular mucosa for a long period of time, promoting their nutritional and vitamin-rich action, which helps re-epithelialization.
