Glutamine is a semi-essential amino acid that provides important nutrients for immune system cells and intestinal epithelial cells. It plays a role in acid-base balance, gluconeogenesis, and nucleotide synthesis. Folic acid participates in the normal synthesis of amino acids, contributes to normal blood formation, reduces fatigue and exhaustion and plays a role in cell division. The formula also includes Ashwagandha root extract, known in Ayurveda as rasayana, which translates as revitalizing factor. The daily dose includes inositol, choline and naringin: Inositol participates in cell signaling and cell growth. Choline contributes to normal fat metabolism and normal liver function.
