The water- and airtight seal created by the highly purified, occlusive silicone film over the injured area raises the local skin temperature. This increased temperature plays a vital role in realigning collagen fibers and regenerating connective tissue. This contributes to the formation of a softer, flatter, and paler scar that is cosmetically more appealing. Indication: The self-adhesive ScarFX silicone scar patch is effective for hypertrophic scars, burn scars, scars from accidental injuries, and scars after surgical procedures such as cesarean section and cosmetic surgery. Special features: The ScarFX silicone scar patch is flexible and soft, conforming to the skin and scar. The adhesive patch is easy to apply and reusable. Application: The patch can be applied immediately after the wound has completely closed and the sutures have been removed. The protective film must be removed from both sides, and the adhesive side applied to dry, unmoisturized skin. The patch should extend at least one centimeter beyond the scar on all sides. ScarFX should be worn for at least 10-12 hours, but preferably around the clock. If worn for 24 hours a day, it is recommended to change the patch with two ScarFX strips.
