Glo Pals and Glo Cubes are liquid-activated sensory light toys. These toys each come with their own personality and color. Pippa glows green, Alex glows yellow, Lumi glows purple, Sammy glows red and Blair glows blue. Each friend is designed with a unique personality to celebrate the things that make each of us unique. Meet Sammy! Hes tall, skinny, and loves sports. When Sammy is placed in water, he will light up red and instantly come to life! The set contains four light-up cubes that will activate when in contact with water. Collect all the colors! The cubes are made from 100% recycled plastic! Glo Pals® were inspired by a child with autism whose mother used the technology behind Glo Pals® to help him overcome his fear of water. His story influenced the development of the Glo Pal® characters and the brands mission to create a product that would engage children in sensory exercises and make bath time fun. The most frequently asked questions about Glo Pals®: Are Glo Pals safe for my child? Yes! The technology behind Glo Pals has been extensively tested and sold worldwide. These products have been independently tested by laboratories in the United States to meet all applicable standards for children ages 3 and up. Due to the size of Glo Pals, the product is intended for children ages 3 and up. How long does it take? Each individual Glo Pal lasts a minimum of sixteen hours lit. This means the product automatically turns on when placed in the bathroom and automatically turns off when the water is drained. Only the time the product is on will count towards the battery life. On average, a Glo Pal should last a minimum of 30 days. We encourage you to read the “storage” question below to further increase longevity. Are the batteries replaceable? The batteries are not replaceable. To meet applicable US safety standards, the batteries are sealed to minimize the risk of choking. For us, safety is by far the most important thing - and we want to make sure your child is safe with our product. Even though the batteries are not replaceable, the friends are recyclable. A Glo Pal lasts an average of 4-6 weeks. How do we store Glo Pals when we are not using them? It is very important that Glo Pals are removed from the liquid and dried when not in use. Typically, removing the friends from the liquid, giving them a quick shake and drying them will help increase the life of the friends. In three easy steps: remove the cube from the water, shake it and blow into the small spaces to remove the water, set it aside to dry. Bath bombs, bath salts, excess soap and shampoo can interfere with the activation of the Glo Pals liquid and cause it to remain lit when removed from the water. If you have a stubborn Pal that still wont turn off, run the Pal under warm water and then try blowing through the Glo Pals vents again to turn it off
