ACTION AND DESCRIPTIONMucoadhesive tablet designed for the treatment of symptoms and complications related to dry mouth (xerostomia). It can be used by patients with reduced, but not completely absent, salivary flow, which normally occurs as a side effect of drug treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or certain diseases. It works by stimulating salivary production and controlling pH changes, which leads to the promotion of healing of the oral mucosa. It is designed to provide prolonged activity. The tablet dissolution time is approximately two hours. Does not contain cariogenic substances. CE marked. Class I. COMPOSITION Sorbitol (D-Glucitol), amylopectin, L-carnosine, carboxylate (carbomer), hydroxypropylcellulose, Hibiscus Sabdarrifa L. Flos, sodium carbonate, magnesium stearate, orange flavoring and sucralose. DIRECTIONS FOR USE It is recommended to take it three times a day after main meals, preferably at regular intervals. Place one tablet against the upper palate and hold for 10-15 seconds to allow proper adhesion to the oral mucosa. Avoid drinking beverages for at least 10 minutes to ensure the tablet sticks. Keep the tablet in place without chewing it until it has completely dissolved. If the tablet comes loose from the mucosal surface, keep it in the mouth and allow it to dissolve without chewing. The dissolution time of the tablet varies depending on the salivary flow; Under normal salivation conditions, the dissolution time is approximately two hours. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS It is contraindicated in any patient with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Due to the presence of flavonoids in Hibiscus Sabdarriffa L., medical advice is advised if used during pregnancy. It does not contain substances that cause drug interactions. Avoid drinking beverages for at least 10 minutes to ensure the tablet stays in place. Do not lie down with the tablet in your mouth. Do not use the product if the wrapper is damaged or if it has expired. If you do not notice improvement after 14 days of treatment, consult your doctor. Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This product does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
