Djeco Chess and Checkers For 2 players. Game duration: 10-20 minutes. CHESS The goal of the game: to capture all of your opponents pieces and prevent them from making any moves. Game rules: players position their pieces on the board as shown in the figure. Pieces move forward|diagonally|one square at a time. A piece captures an opponents piece by jumping over it forward or backward|provided it lands on a free square. A piece can capture even more of the opponents pieces during a move in the same direction. Players must capture their opponents piece whenever possible|otherwise the opponent can take their piece. King: When a piece reaches the end of the opponents line|it becomes king (takes a piece from those captured by the opponent and places it above the king). The king moves forward and backward on the diagonal and can capture the opponents pieces that it can jump over on that row. The king can continue its movement on another diagonal if this way a piece can be captured. Recommended age: 6-99 years. Made of non-toxic materials and paints according to EN71;ASTM regulations.
