RodiCare® instant can also be used as a base feed for other small rodents with poor appetite, herbivorous reptiles, and birds, but must then be supplemented according to the specific needs of each species. RodiCare® instant is also suitable as a rearing feed for orphaned young animals and as a supplementary feed for weak and stunted young animals that are no longer exclusively dependent on milk. RodiCare® instant contains all essential vitamins and minerals. With its high vitamin C content, it ensures an adequate supply even for guinea pigs that are temporarily unable to eat fresh food. A high crude fiber content promotes healthy digestion. In addition, RodiCare® instant contains a specially formulated blend of herbs that support digestion and stimulate appetite. Application Feeding instructions: Mix the powder with warm water in a ratio of approximately 1:2 (1 part powder to 2 parts water) until a smooth porridge is formed. Depending on the animals needs, a slightly thinner or thicker porridge can be prepared. Unless otherwise advised by your veterinarian, animals should receive at least 60-80 ml of the prepared porridge per kg of body weight daily, divided into 5 to 6 meals. Very weak animals should be fed small portions as frequently as possible (every 2-3 hours). The required amount and frequency of feedings may vary depending on the species, weight, age, and condition of the animal and should therefore be discussed with your veterinarian. Offer the porridge in a bowl or on a small spoon. If the animal does not eat voluntarily, RodiCare® instant can be carefully administered in small amounts into the corner of the mouth using a syringe. During the transition from liquid to solid food, RodiCare® instant can be mixed with a little water to form small dough-like balls and fed. Once the animal resumes solid food, the RodiCare® instant ration should be reduced accordingly. Store the gruel in the refrigerator and use within 12 hours. Do not feed the gruel chilled. Note: Good quality hay and fresh water should always be available at all times. As complete regeneration of the digestive tract can take several weeks, it is recommended to feed RodiCare® basic pellets initially during and after the transition to solid food.
