Revamil wound dressing Product Description It is a soft polyacetate dressing impregnated with pure Revamil standardized medical honey with a high enzymatic concentration. It is sterilized by gamma radiation and does not adhere to the lesion. It guarantees a prolonged antibacterial action thanks to the slow release of 3°/°° hydrogen peroxide. Gluconic acid creates an acidic environment of pH 3.5 which inhibits bacterial growth. The enzymatic activity of Revamil® honey and its antibacterial efficacy promote skin regeneration. Directions • Suitable for large acute and chronic infected wounds; • For pressure ulcers in the sacral area; • Vascular ulcers, surgical wounds; • For the treatment of heel injuries; • 1st and 2nd degree burns. How to use • Clean the wound with saline solution. • Apply the gauze compress impregnated with Revamil medical honey and cover with a secondary bandage. • During the first week, treat every 24 hours and then every 48/72 hours at the discretion of the healthcare professional.
