REGENERA THERAPEUTIC LENSES IONIC CORNEAL Description Soft therapeutic contact lens for eye bandage with a diameter of 14.5 mm (ionic material G-72 HW H2O 72%) in saline buffered with Aloe vera. The lens is compatible with eye drops used in postoperative therapy. The REGENERA therapeutic lens can only be used under the strict supervision of a doctor and an optician. The REGENERA therapeutic lens has no refractive function and two models have been developed: the REGENERA CORNEAL therapeutic lens to facilitate corneal re-epithelialization after refractive surgery or in cases of abrasions and trauma to the corneal surface; the REGENERA SCLERAL therapeutic lens as an eye bandage after surgery or in pathological conditions requiring limbal coverage, for wider protection of the ocular surface. The ionic nature of the material allows for better interaction with the tear film and optimal passage of eye drops through the lens. The aloe vera solution in which the lens is soaked has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as promoting the re-epithelialization process. How to use Regenera therapeutic lenses are designed to be worn like regular contact lenses. They can be worn for extended periods of time, up to a cumulative period of 30 days. warnings Never use expired contact lenses; use only contact lens compatible eye drops. Some ophthalmic medications may affect the tolerability of lenses. Some medications (antihistamines, decongestants, diuretics, muscle relaxants, tranquilizers, and medications for movement disorders) may cause dryness, increased lens sensitivity, and blurred vision. Some medications may affect lens sensitivity and quality of vision. Do not use sprays or aerosols while wearing lenses. REGENERA therapeutic lenses are not recommended for people who are sensitive or intolerant to distilled aloe vera water, due to the presence of this additive in the preservative solution of the final product.
