Adjust the amount of water to achieve a yogurt-like consistency. The paste should not be too thick or too thin. Apply the paste, starting at the roots and spreading it evenly to the ends. Application: Start at the roots and apply the paste immediately after mixing. A larger amount of paste may be required for gray hair. Use the enclosed shower cap to cover the hair after the paste has been evenly distributed. Processing time: After applying the paste, wait at least 45 to 60 minutes. If a darker color is desired, leave the paste on longer. The paste can safely remain on the hair for two to three hours.
