She studies the social functions of emotion and facial expression and examines cultural differences in emotion expression, experience, and regulation.n nMaital Neta is Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of the Center for Brain, Biology, and Behavior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There, she also directs the Cognitive & Affective Neuroscience Lab.
